After so much work and effort by the local community here in Honolulu over the past couple years, large brands such as Red Bull couldn't help but take notice. With local athletes now being sponsored by the major dominating force in the action sports industry, the stage was set for the islands to show that they could host one of the most prestigious breaking events in the world. Funded by Red Bull with local talent brought in for consultation, planning, and execution. I was brought on board to help with event recap coverage as well as behind the scenes shooting along with the main social media team and Red Bull's West Coast Media House.
